Bachelor of Science in Medical Studies (CUHK), IBDP 43/45

Greetings ! I graduated from CUHK in July 2024 with a Bachelor of Science in Medical Studies, and I am working as a research assistant at the psychiatry department. I finished IBDP in 2018 and got 43/45, including 7/7 in biology HL and chemistry HL. I have completed 3 years of Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery in CUHK. However, I transferred to the research stream as I decided not to pursue a career as a medical doctor. This is my third year tutoring IB biology. In the previous years, two of my best students got into PolyU physio and HKU law, scoring 6 and 7 in biology HL. My tutorials highly focus on interaction and active learning. The student is encouraged to preview his/her class materials before the tutorial, as each tutorial is conducted in an interactive answer-question format. At the end of the lesson, the student would be given my notes that can be studied as flashcards. Exam-styled questions and past paper questions would also be provided. Junior university students in biology or biomedicine are also welcomed, I can provide tailor-made notes according to your syllabus.
