I am a Christian and a certified educator based in Hong Kong. I possess a wealth of experience and expertise in teaching Mathematics, having taught the subject for over 7 years in various esteemed international schools spanning West Africa, the Middle East, and Asia. My robust knowledge base extends across multiple curricula such as the GCE, IGCSE, and the American Common Core.

My teaching philosophy centres around cultivating positive mindsets in my students to facilitate their understanding of mathematical concepts. To this end, I encourage my pupils to adopt empowering affirmations such as “I can do all things that I put my mind to” and “I have an excellent spirit within me”. By blending rigour with entertainment, I have developed a highly effective teaching methodology that consistently yields impressive results.

While mathematical tips and tricks can be useful, I prioritise instilling a deep understanding of the content and fostering independent thought in my students. To achieve this, I encourage pupils to take their time and focus on content depth instead of speed. By doing so, students develop a stronger grasp of Mathematical concepts and are better equipped to make novel discoveries and forge independent ideas. In essence, I believe that this is the ultimate purpose of education.
