Hello everyone! I’m Mr. Seth, a native English teacher at SENsei by Blueprint Academy. We just opened up a new classroom in Shek Mun and I am looking for new students to join! I’ve been teaching in Hong Kong for almost 6 years now, with most of my experience coming from teaching kids aged 3 - 11. I offer both private and group classes in a variety of subjects; phonics, writing, reading comprehension, speaking & storytelling, interview skills, and more. I would describe my teaching style as lively and I plan all of my lessons with some kind of game or activity involved. Description
Speaking & Storytelling
Practice your presentation and English speaking abilities in Mr. Seth's storytelling class! This course is great for kids needing to improve their spoken grammar, confidence, and listening skills. Each class is 1 hour and has a maximum of 5 students.
Phonics
Students will learn letter/phenome identification, beginner reading, and beginner handwriting in this class. Alongside our provided materials, children will also play games and complete activities to introduce each topic.
This course lasts for 1 hour, and has a maximum of 4 students.
Writing & Reading Comprehension
Students will practice their writing and comprehension skills in this course. I've designed this class to be adaptable to the student's needs and interests, as I know many kids find this subject boring. 😉 Class can be 1hr or 1.5hrs, with a maximum of 4 students.
Homework Help
For students who need a little extra help getting their assignments done. This is typically a private class, however I have had classmates join as a group before. 😊
Kindergarten Mathematics
In this class, students will develop fluency in addition and subtraction, as well as learn how to identify shapes, patterns, and simple word problems. 1hr, with a maximum of 5 students.
