My friendly and approachable personality allows me to quickly establish a rapport with students enabling them to open up and engage more with their language learning journey.

My teaching approach is student-centred and focused on immersion, critical thinking and active participation. Memorisation and rote learning are outdated and it has been proven, that students more effectively learn through immersive teaching.

My teaching has included private tutoring, online and in-person teaching for students of all age ranges (2+) and proficiency levels (up to CEFR B2). In addition to my TEFL (120h) certification, I recently undertook a Master of Arts (TESOL), through which I received theoretical and practical knowledge in teaching ESL students. I received multiple academic achievements and am looking forward to applying my newly found knowledge.

Private tutoring that I have been conducting on the side since my high-school years, has given me a strong ability to design and create unique lesson plans, that I can tailor to individual students. Furthermore, my experience as an online teacher has improved my flexibility when teaching pre-designed course material and I am able to effectively motivate online and face-to-face students with or without the use of special tools/props. I am reliable, punctual and very passionate to start teaching for a new school soon.

Over the past year, I have been employed full-time as an ESL teacher at a local language school, where my primary focus was teaching young children ages 2 - 13 in a variety of subjects, including phonics, grammar, writing and oral communication.
