Passionate and Enthusiastic English Tutor and Photographer - Learning is fun with me!

Hi there! I’m Melanie, and I’m passionate about education and making meaningful connections with my students. As an ESL teacher with a CertTESOL certification, I’ve spent several rewarding years developing engaging lesson plans that cater to different learning styles, whether I’m teaching online or in-person.
My journey has taken me from private tutoring to teaching at various institutions in Hong Kong and Canada, where I’ve loved seeing my students grow and thrive. I believe that learning should be fun and inspiring, and I always strive to create a warm, supportive environment in my classroom.
In addition to teaching, I’ve worked as the Communications and Outreach Coordinator for Subtle TVB Traits. This role has allowed me to explore my creativity while growing audiences and launching exciting initiatives. I find joy in crafting engaging content that resonates with people.
I’m fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin Putonghua, which helps me connect with a diverse range of learners. I’m highly organized, proactive, and enjoy collaborating with others. Ultimately, my goal is to empower my students to reach their full potential through innovative and effective educational strategies. I can’t wait to help you on your learning journey!

I am available for tutoring sessions between 10 AM - 8 PM on weekdays, and 10 AM - 4 PM on weekends. I’m able to teach primary students, teenagers, and adults, and I offer online tutoring as well.
