Native British teacher working in Hong Kong looking to help students learn English.

Hello! My name is Keiran from 4tutor and I am a native English speaker living in hong Kong. I come from Glasgow, which is in Scotland in the United Kingdom.

I have an MA in Chinese Mandarin Langauge and History from the University of Edinburgh. I have also studied Spanish in school. I think I understand the difficulties students face when studying a new language very well as I have completed a four-year degree in Chinese and tried to learn numerous other languages. I think this will show my passion for language learning.

I have been staying in Hong Kong for 3-6 months. Over the past 18 months, I have had numerous training and experience in teaching with primary schools and educational foundations in the UK and Hong Kong. My current position being held in Shap Pat Heung Rural Committee Kung Yik She Primary School (KYS). These experiences have given me the skill set to teach topics in general English, creative writing, reading comprehension, listening and speaking activities.

I have taught students from ages 4-12 and tutored teenagers 18 plus. Therefore, I understand the different techniques needed to support students of different ages. I commit myself to teaching each student differently and to accommodate their unique needs.
