Creative and caring English teacher with Montessori and phonics experience

Hello! I'm Gad — a native English speaker with over 3 years of experience teaching early years and primary students in Hong Kong. My approach blends structure and play: I draw from Montessori principles, Jolly Phonics, and Cambridge English (YLE) to make lessons engaging, effective, and personalised to each student’s pace.

Before teaching, I spent a decade working in branding and communications. That background helps me connect with learners through storytelling, visuals, and confidence-building strategies that go beyond the textbook. Whether we’re practising sounds, building sentences, or writing our first story, I aim to create a space where learning feels natural — not forced.

I’ve taught in bilingual classrooms, led one-on-one online lessons, and supported students preparing to transition to international schools. Most importantly, I adapt to what each child needs — with patience, warmth, and a bit of creative spark.
