Enrico

Hi! I'm Enrico - a recent graduate from UCL's Biochemical Engineering Department starting a position at a start up in HK Science Park. I've been tutoring for over 7 years with experience in English, Psychology, Mathematics and the Sciences, teaching students ranging from 4-17 years old.

I started teaching back in 2015 in Hong Kong, where I was asked to help two 3-year olds with developing basic English through interactive games and reading. It was this experience that sparked my initial passion for teaching. Since then, I have gone from basic English to GCSE Mathematics to IB Biology and Psychology, pushing myself to teach increasingly more complex subjects.

Throughout my education, I have always been a student who took slightly longer to understand a concept, but once I did was able to break it down and apply it effectively. Furthermore, I always believed in going deeper into whatever I was learning in order to better understand the content I was required to know. This trait has helped me thrive in the tutoring industry the past eight years, where a genuine understanding of a topic is essential to effectively explain. By pairing this skill with a thorough understanding of the syllabus, I am able to provide an effective lesson which balances deep understanding with precise exam technique.
