Growing up as a British Pakistani; I grew to understand that language in essence is the very soul of culture. It is how people grow and bond together. It strengthens a society and unifies people together. My motivation to teach English stems not only from a burning desire to ensure students speak, write and read English without grammatical errors and with a sense of ease, but also to realize that learning a new language is much like overcoming an obstacle in life. I want to give my students a sense of purpose. I want to inspire and empower them to be great human beings in life.
This, I believe, is part of a teacher's job; to ensure that their student grows positively in every immeasurable way.
