UK Medical Student teaching Biology and English. Medical School Admission Advisor.

Hi! I'm Carissa and I am looking to teach students in English, Biology and combined science. These were my favourite subjects in school and I was awarded A/A* for all of them. I am currently in my fourth year of medical school and therefore am also offering Medical School admissions consulting. I have experience teaching iGCSE science students and pre-school children.

I am relatively chill and friendly but at the same time I get the job done. I understand that biology might not be everyone’s favourite subject but I hope to make it easier and more enjoyable.

I will always start off the session with a brief discussion recapping the previous week along with a quiz. I will then ask the student what they want addressing out of the session, usually 1) cover content or 2) Q&A. I will use visual/audio/text aids depending on the student's learning style. At the end I will do a brief summary and set homework.
