She has a strong academic background including a BA in Modern History from the University of Oxford (2:1, exhibition awarded by college for excellent academic achievement), a PGCE from the Institute of Education, UCL, London and a CELTA English teaching qualification awarded by the University of Cambridge (Pass A Grade). Katherine worked for 7 years in a top prep school in London teaching Years 4-7, including holding positions of management responsibility (Junior Curriculum Coordinator and Data and Assessment Coordinator). She has an outstanding teaching record and specialises in maths, English, creative writing and entrance exams such as 11+.
