Star Elements Academy For Performing Arts is a performing art school dedicated to helping students become confident communicators, critical thinkers, and persuasive leaders. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and experienced English Public Speaking & Debate Teacher to join our team.

We are looking for a skilled teacher to deliver engaging public speaking and debate courses to students aged 8 - 16+ . The ideal candidate is passionate about communication, comfortable teaching argumentation and rhetoric, and able to prepare students for presentations, competitions, and real-world speaking situations.

Key Responsibilities:

-Teach public speaking, debate formats, argumentation, rhetoric, and critical thinking.
-Plan and deliver engaging, student-centered lessons in English.
-Coach students for debate competitions, speech contests, and public presentations.
-Develop curriculum, lesson plans, and teaching materials.
-Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
-Communicate regularly with parents and staff regarding student development.
-Collaborate with colleagues to improve programs and share best practices.
-Stay current with debate formats and public speaking trends.


Requirements:

-Bachelor’s degree or higher.
-Native or near-native English proficiency.
-Experience in competitive debate, public speaking, or related fields.
-Prior teaching or coaching experience with students.
-Strong classroom management and communication skills.
-TEFL/TESOL/CELTA or teaching license as the first priority
-Hong Kong - based / HKID/ working visa requirements.
