About the Role

We’re looking for experienced, passionate English tutors to conduct one-on-one speaking and fluency sessions with P4-S1 learners. In this role, you’ll act as a Practice Buddy© (PB)—a term we use for our instructors who support students in real-time, helping them build confidence, improve fluency, and enjoy learning.

This is a freelance, fully remote position with flexible scheduling. You’ll be teaching using MeeOpp’s ready-made materials and interactive online platform, so you can focus entirely on your students—no extra prep required.

Responsibilities
- Lead engaging 1-on-1 English sessions for primary students using MeeOpp’s curriculum and platform
- Review students’ work and provide tailored, actionable feedback to strengthen speaking and communication skills
- Prepare for each session by reviewing teaching notes, guidelines, and student progress insights
- Foster a supportive and welcoming environment where students feel confident to speak, ask questions, and share ideas

Requirements
- Fluency in English
- Bachelor’s degree in English, education, or a related humanities field
- Experience teaching English to young learners, especially EAL (English as an Additional Language) students
- One-on-one or small-group teaching experience (preferred)
- TEFL, TESOL, TESL, CELTA, or DELTA certification (preferred)
- SCRC or police check
- Available weekdays from 4 - 9pm and/or weekends from 9am - 9pm



Person Specification
- Comfortable using online teaching tools and digital platforms
- Patient, empathetic, and adaptable
- Strong time management and communication skills
