New Users
If you have just signed up for Tutor Seek then you are classified as a new user.
Your user account starts on the Basic Free Plan which means there are some restrictions on who can contact you for the first 14 days. After your account has existed for longer than 14 days, the restrictions are lifted. You can also choose to skip this waiting period and upgrade to an Early Bird or Featured plan.
Basic Free Plan
New users cannot be contacted by other new users who are also on the Basic Free Plan until they have been a member for longer than 14 days. If a user's listing displays a New User badge, you need to be on the Early Bird Plan or higher to contact them.
While a user is new (and on a Basic Free Plan), their profile or job listing will display a New User badge. Then once a Basic user has been listed for longer than 14 days, this will change to a Free to Message badge.
