First Contact

Conversations will only appear in Tutor Seek Messenger after first contact has been made via a user's profile page, or via a job post.

To make first contact with a tutor or school, or apply for a job, type an introductory message into the message box provided. After pressing Send you'll be be taken to the Tutor Seek Messenger page where the new conversation will appear and you can either send some follow-up messages or wait for a response.

Users respond best to short, polite messages, that are to the point. If applying for a job, it is usually a good idea to open with a sentence introducing yourself, and if the job post doesn't already display an email address, ask the best way to send through your CV.
