Warm, observant educator who teaches through consistency, hands-on practices and real-life application. I help every student feel safe, seen and understood, especially those with SEN, and I show up reliably.

I am an educator who believes that every child can learn when they feel safe, seen, and understood. My teaching is built on three principles: consistency, hands-on practices and real-life application. I don't just manage behaviour and teach from reading a book, I help students understand why and how through self-reflection and provoking thoughts. That approach works for most children and it's especially effective for students with special educational needs.

Teaching Methodology: My methodology is relational before it is instructional. I build trust first through warmth, predictability and genuine interest in each student and then I teach. When a child is struggling, I ask about specificity rather than re-explaining, I use clear concrete examples and repetition, which makes learning accessible for students with SEN as well as neurotypical learners. I adapt materials to each student's level and celebrate progress, not perfection.

Experience: I currently work as a NET Teacher with Headstart Group, delivering engaging, standards-aligned lessons in reading, writing, speaking and listening across 30+ Hong Kong schools, from Kindergarten through Secondary. I also work as a Student Supervisor at French International School, where I supervise students during lunch and playtime, resolve conflicts and maintain a positive, safe environment. Alongside this, I have been private tutoring practice since 2023, covering grammar, composition, comprehension, literature and public exam techniques (HKDSE, IELTS, Cambridge), and I previously taught Phonics, reading, writing, debate, drama, Cambridge YLE and Trinity at Kinderville. Across all these roles, I have built customised materials, tracked progress, and communicated with parents.

Personality: I am warm, observant and steady. I am playful and use humour to build rapport, but I hold firm boundaries and students know that my corrections come from care. I am reliable, a fast learner and I work well both independently and as part of a team. I bring energy and consistency to every room I enter.

What I Can Offer a Student: A student who works with me gets an educator who sees them as a whole person, not a child to teach. They get someone who explains rather than shames, who gives them tools to handle frustration when they don't understand material, and who goes the extra mile to ensure that the students grasp knowledge long-term. They get lessons tailored to their level, honest feedback and the confidence that comes from being genuinely understood. And they get an adult who will show up for them consistently because that is the foundation everything else is built on.
