Hi, I’m Rachel, an English Communications Specialist from the UK. I have a CELTA and Diploma in TEFL, and I have over 25 years of experience. I worked at Cathay Pacific as an Aviation Communications specialist for 13 years, where I taught pilots how to communicate effectively in unexpected situations (for licensing purposes).

I now work as a Freelancer. I train English and Aviation English communication skills. If your goal is to become a cadet pilot at Cathay Pacific, I can provide you with the knowledge and practice to pass your ICAO English test.

I have been an Executive member of Central Toastmasters Club for over 3 years and achieved 3rd place in the Division Public Speaking competition in 2025. I am a mentor at the club and provide Public Speaking Coaching. If your goal is to be an MC at a special event or audition for a speech, I will ensure you learn the skills to craft an engaging script.
