Make learning English fun again!

Hey everyone, my name is Nicolas but all my students call me Mr Nick!

I have been a qualified kindergarten Native English Teacher in Hong Kong since 2018, and I've worked for several international kindergarten since 2021. I currently teach at York International Kindergarten in Kowloon Tong. I have been a class teacher for every kindergarten level from PN to K3. As far as my qualifications go, I hold a Certificate in TESOL by Trinity College London.

I pride myself on delivering fun, high-energy and effective private lessons, prioritizing interaction and student-led activities. I speak with a fairly standard American accent that is easily understood. I focus on accurate pronunciation above all else.

Through my 7 years of working experience in various HK kindergartens and as a father of 2 kindergarten-age girls, I know exactly what works and what doesn't for teaching English to young learners. By trusting me to be your child's private tutor, I guarantee he/she will make rapid progress in English AND will be enjoying my lessons! Learning is most effective when it's fun, no matter how old you are. :)

If your child is just starting his English learning journey, he/she will be learning all letters and letter sounds through the Letterland method, a fun and highly effective way to learn to read and speak English thanks to its exciting characters, songs, letter sounds and action associations.

If your child is more advanced, he/she will be able to read fluently in no time by learning sound and letter blending while expending his vocabulary and having fun along the way.
