My first teacher was my grandmother, who has gifted me a love for the English language through the gentle repetition of nursery rhymes and fables. This taught me that learning is most powerful when it feels like exploration, not a chore. That wonder was why I pursued a degree in English: how words can be both beautiful and powerful, from the stories in advertisements to the way visuals make text come alive.

I'm just starting my tutoring journey, but being a guide? I have practice. At times, while I was in university, I would be helping my mom's friends' daughters and my younger brother with post-secondary options like JUPAS, providing clarity and a plan when they felt overwhelmed.

I'm not always the most articulate explainer with words alone. Because of that, I've learned to use drawings and visuals as a tool to map out concepts, making traditional explanations easier to grasp.

My goal is to help you find a sense of clarity in the smallest steps. I believe that real confidence comes from truly understanding one step at a time and not from rushing to get everything right.
