Hi, I'm Eric! I was born in Hong Kong, moved to Canada when I was 8, and grew up there through university — so English isn't just a subject I studied, it's the language I grew up thinking, joking, and speaking in.

I spent 15+ years working in international business across Hong Kong and APAC, but outside of work I'm just a big fan of Western movies, music, and sports — happy to build lessons around whatever you're actually into, whether that's chatting about a show you're watching, prepping for a work presentation, or just getting more comfortable speaking naturally.

I'm trilingual (English, Cantonese, Mandarin), so I get exactly where the tricky parts of English trip up HK/Mandarin speakers, and I can always explain something a different way if it's not clicking.
