Engineer with over 3 Years' of Experience in the Civil and Environmental Engineering Industry

Hi Everyone!

I graduated from the City University of Hong Kong with a Bachelor's of Engineering in Civil and Structural Engineering in 2018.

Since then I've worked in various capacities, mostly as an engineer in the civil and environmental engineering field, doing VERY complicated calculations every day!

Over the past two to three years I have also been writing a book that aims to "bridge the gap" (pun intended) between physics and mathematics theory learned in secondary school with civil engineering topics that may be studied in a university course, or even encountered in the wider engineering field itself.

I tailor students' lessons to their needs and abilities, and try to cultivate their logic and critical thinking to give them a better base from which they can tackle difficult mathematics and physics problems on their own.

I would have no hesitation sharing some of my civil engineering knowledge with students who are interested, and showing them how concepts learned in secondary school can be applied in this field. In fact, I believe that going beyond what is required takes them up a level, and makes the material they have at hand much easier to handle. Of course, this is optional.
