Experienced IB Tutor | Native English, Cantonese & Fluent Mandarin | 10 Years Experience with Youth

Hi, I’m Charly—an experienced and enthusiastic educator with 10 years of tutoring experience working with youth. I’m a native English and Cantonese speaker, and am fluent in Mandarin. I’m especially familiar with the International Baccalaureate (IB) programs (MYP & DP).

I hold an undergraduate degree in Ethics, Society, and Law and Philosophy from the University of Toronto, and I’m currently completing an MSc in Environmental Science and Management (expected July 2026). I’ll be starting a Postgraduate Diploma in Education (Geography) in September 2026 (expected 2027), with a long-term goal of becoming a deeply student-centred, impact-focused teacher.

I’ve spent five years working in sustainability education across the NGO and higher education sectors, and I’m confident supporting children, teenagers, and adult learners. My teaching style is interactive and engaging, focused on building confidence, understanding, and critical thinking—so that students can grow into curious, global citizens.
