Science PhD private tutor in Math, Science, Computer Science (STEM)

I teach Mathematics, General Science, Physics, Computer Studies, ICT and English. Currently a full-time private tutor for international / local school and adults in HK with 5+ years experience. Born and raised in Hong Kong. I have lived in the U.K. and U.S. for more than 10 years. I speak fully fluent English, Cantonese, and some basic Mandarin. Trained as a scientist and researcher (post-doctoral training). Other relevant teaching experience include: as a tutor at tutoring centre (H.K.); as an assistant teacher in instructing university/college level physical geology and geochemistry (U.S.); an instructor for college freshman and high school women in science and engineering students (U.S.); as a mentor for more than a dozen of undergraduate and postgraduate students for their research projects (U.S.). The best part of being a private tutor is the satisfaction of seeing how my students, how much they have improved and exceled in their individual studies and learning new concepts.

Classes are tailor-made for individual's students' needs and progress. Students are being evaluated to identify their strength and weaknesses. Learning is emphasized to focus on their weaknesses. Other than that, their interests and curiosities can be developed through analogies, fun or hands-on activities.
