Looking for HKU Student / Recent Graduate English Tutor for P2/P3 Child

We are looking for an HK based uni student or recent graduate to tutor my 8-year-old son in **English reading, writing, comprehension, grammar and vocabulary**.

Location:** Mid-Levels / near HKU
Format:** In-person, 1:1
Student:** Age 8, currently P2 and starting P3 in September
Schedule:** Preferably Tuesdays around 11:00am after his math class
Lesson length:** 60 minutes once per week to start, with the option to increase to 75 minutes later if it works well
Start:** July / summer period
Rate:** Negotiable depending on experience

We do not currently have specific books or materials, so we would appreciate a tutor who can **recommend suitable reading/writing materials** and prepare lesson content.

Focus areas:

English reading comprehension
Vocabulary building
Grammar and sentence structure
Spelling
Paragraph writing
Writing confidence

Language support:**
Our son's teacher mentioned that he would benefit from **Cantonese support for instructions.

We are looking for a tutor who can give instructions or explain concepts in Cantonese when helpful, while the reading and writing work remains in English.

Preferred tutor:

* HKU student or recent graduate
* Native or near-native English level
* Fluent Cantonese
* Patient, warm and structured
* Good with active primary-age children
* Able to recommend age-appropriate materials
* Experience with children preferred
