We are looking for an experienced English / bilingual interview tutor for a Primary 5 boy currently studying at Kingston International School.

The main goal is to help him prepare for Hong Kong S1 school interviews, including DSS and international school interviews. Possible target schools include DBS, Ying Wa, NPL and KGV.

We are not looking for a traditional grammar-only or worksheet-based English class. We would like the tutor to focus on practical speaking and interview communication, including:

Giving natural 3–5 sentence answers
Handling follow-up questions such as why, examples, feelings and lessons learned
Speaking about his own experiences, including swimming training, school life, science interests and a Chinese science essay about Mercury
Improving confidence, fluency, sentence structure and common grammar mistakes through speaking and short writing
Preparing for portfolio-related questions and mock interviews

Ideally, the tutor should have experience with upper primary students and Hong Kong S1 / DSS / school interview preparation. Experience with international school students or EAL learners would be helpful.

We prefer one-on-one lessons, once or twice per week. Please share your relevant experience, teaching approach, availability and hourly rate.
